How should I price cleaning on an invoice: flat, hourly or per square foot?

Flat rate per home is the easiest for recurring residential clients. Per square foot works well for move-outs and commercial spaces. Hourly is common for first-time deep cleans where the condition is unknown. Say which basis you used on the invoice.

Should I send an invoice after every cleaning?

For recurring clients, one invoice per month listing each visit is usually simpler for both sides. For one-time cleans, invoice the same day the work is done.

Do cleaning services charge sales tax?

It depends on the state. Some states tax cleaning services, especially commercial janitorial work, while others don't tax them at all. Check your state's rules or ask an accountant.
